Join SOPAC’s Exclusive Giving Society Today!

Friends of SOPAC is a generous group of performing arts philanthropists whose leadership-level support helps SOPAC advance its mission.

The major gifts provided by Friends of SOPAC members helps ensure that tens of thousands of our community members each year will have access to world-class, life-enriching artistic presentations and arts education programs, and help position SOPAC and northern New Jersey as a cultural destination.

As a Friend of SOPAC, you will gain access to a host of benefits that will highlight your support, elevate your experience at SOPAC, and connect you with likeminded philanthropists and the community benefiting from their generosity. Friends of SOPAC benefits are in addition to all benefits included in a traditional SOPAC membership.

Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually Renewing payment options are available. Your charitable contribution will be tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.

All Friends of SOPAC members will receive invitations to intimate Salons & VIP Experiences throughout the season. Hosted by SOPAC (sometimes in partnership with other organizations and sponsors), these events will provide an opportunity for Friends of SOPAC members to join like-minded philanthropists who believe in the transformative power of the arts and SOPAC’s work in the community.

Invitations will be delivered electronically. Any members with dietary restrictions or who require mobility assistance may mention this with their RSVP. We can accommodate most additional requirements with advanced notice.

Friends of SOPAC are encouraged to bring their friends, family, and other guests to these events, as will be indicated on the invitations.

Conductor’s Circle members ($2,500) and above may be invited to exclusive experiences with artists and backstage tours as available, among other offerings.

Members who are interested in behind-the-scenes experiences with specific artists are asked to contact a member of SOPAC’s Development Department to inquire about availability.  Other opportunities may be offered by the Development Department to the Friends of SOPAC.

Director’s Circle members ($5,000) and above may choose to direct their support to a single SOPAC program. This can be anything from artist fees; performance production expenses; specific SOPAC series such as Broadway in Concert, Kids + Family, or other; arts education programing; and more.

As part of this benefit, your name will appear on the Program’s overview page on the SOPAC website (donations may also be left anonymous if so desired).

Director’s Circle members ($5,000) and above may request a seat plaque with an inscription of their choice to be placed on a seat in the SOPAC Mainstage Theatre. The plaque will be visible to seated patrons.

Your plaque’s inscription may have a maximum of three lines, with 20 characters on each line. This benefit may only be redeemed once throughout the member’s lifetime and is dependent upon availability on seats within the theatre.

Director’s Circle members ($5,000) and above may request premium seating for any show of their choice as available.

To redeem this benefit, Friends of SOPAC members are asked to contact a member of SOPAC’s Development Department at membership@sopacnow.org or (973) 712-4101 to inquire about availability.

To redeem this benefit (ticket refund or ticket exchange), Friends of SOPAC members are asked to contact the SOPAC Development Department at (973)-712-4101 or membership@sopacnow.org.

Chairman’s Circle members ($25,000) may choose which program(s) their Friends of SOPAC donation supports, Broadway in Concert, Kids + Family, a specific artist, Arts Education, and more.
