Miriam Vales

With over three decades of professional experience in varying industries Including Elf Lubricants NA, LP Music group, Kirker Enterprises, Michael Kors and Baccarat Inc, NA. Miriam has honed her expertise in all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and financial planning and analysis. Her career highlights include being recognized by  Ebony Magazine’s Power 100 in 2021 with a “Ceiling Breaker” award as the only black women to have ever served as a CFO at Baccarat Inc. NA. During a period of transition in the company Miriam also served as Baccarat’s interim CEO in 2023.  She has spearheaded the implementation and upgrading of three ERP software packages and providing crucial financial support to IT initiatives. Miriam strongly believes in a collaborative work environment that supports and empowers every employee.

Because of her passion for the arts, she served on the Board of Governors for SOPAC for 5 years.  Now she will lend her financial expertise in-house, as SOPAC’s chief financial officer.
