Award-winning hip hop artist and TEDx speaker Shaun Boothe pours his talent into a presentation designed to motivate young audiences using rap songs that chronicle the extraordinary lives of cultural icons. In this inspiring multimedia performance, Shaun Boothe discusses strength, character, media and the role of women in society. The life stories of cultural icons Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Malala Yousafzai and Oprah Winfrey are told through music and rhyme. Shaun packages history in a way that connects with students and reinforces the importance of living a meaningful life. It is a celebration of greatness made not just to inform and entertain but to inspire and awaken the greatness within us all. By “learning from the greats,” students will examine their own strengths and goals then take away actionable lessons that will energize their lives.
