Progressive Rock’s King Crimson was famously fronted by Adrian Belew for over 30 years, and he served as its songwriter and guitarist, leaving an indelible stamp on its sound and discography. Adrian Belew ﬁrst appeared on the guitar-world radar when he toured with ‘70s rebel Frank Zappa who later said, “Adrian reinvented electric guitar.” From there he went on to be an integral part of David Bowie’s world tours, a stint with Talking Heads and later, GaGa and The Tom Tom Club. With each recording or tour Adrian continued to stretch his musical signature sounds and identity, making him a touchstone for inventive ways to bridge the traditional into the extraordinary.
He scored Pixar’s Oscar-nominated short film Piper, and has his own music app called FLUX.
