Stephanie Colón

Audience Services Manager
A lifelong New Jersey resident whose career path has constantly revolved around community and the arts, Stephanie Colón feels that being a part of SOPAC is practically second nature. She is proud to be the Audience Services Manager, tasked with ensuring that every event at SOPAC is a seamless and uniquely special experience for everyone that walks through these doors.
Stephanie began her career in public service, working with the New Jersey General Assembly under Assemblywoman Annette Quijano, using her fluency in Spanish to connect with and address the needs of the district’s constituents. Her skills in event coordination and community outreach led to her work as the Community Engagement Associate at State Theatre New Jersey in New Brunswick, where she played a role in developing their education and community programs both new and old. There, she focused on ensuring accessibility to the arts, building partnerships with schools and organizations across New Jersey with the intent to foster the idea that anyone, no matter where they come from, can always find a seat in the theatre.
As a graduate of the American Academy of the Dramatic Arts, Stephanie’s adoration for the performing arts follows her wherever she goes and fuels all of her work. Whether she’s volunteering at a Union County event, participating in a community theatre production, or just dancing salsa at a family party, she truly believes that community and creativity go hand in hand. She is thrilled to being those feelings to the patron experience, hoping to make every guest at SOPAC feel as welcome to the shows as she does.
