Jonathan Light

Jonathan Light is a writer, director, and producer with 20 years of experience in film, TV, and corporate media. He began his adult life as an opera singer before pivoting to writing and directing. He currently serves as Director of Production for TeamPeople, a national creative-services company, where he oversees projects in the corporate space for various multinational clients.

As an actor and director, he spent many years working on plays in various subterranean venues around New York and London, most without air conditioning. He has been a script and story consultant for companies in the U.S., U.K, and China, and has had original TV projects in development with A+E Studios and various indie producers. Projects in development include NANDA DEVI, with Tarsem Singh attached to direct; CADENCE, a thriller set in the world of classical music; THE DRESSMAKER, a biopic of Beatles’ manager Brian Epstein; and THE BREATH, an original series adaptation of Margaret Weis and Robert Krammes’ Dragon Corsairs trilogy.

Jonathan is a passionate lover of theater and classical music, and he is excited to bring that love to help further SOPAC’s mission.
