Get ready & get set to test your knowledge in all things performing arts, Thanksgiving and more! Virtual Trivia Night with SOPAC will be an informal, fun competition to see who has the greatest knowledge of trivia. And, for the winners, there will be prizes!

Virtual Trivia events will run approximately one hour and will include one brief intermission.

Costumes, festive hats and holiday decorating are encouraged!

Gamemaster Alicia

Gamemaster Alicia (pronounced uh-lee-SEE-uh) is totally ready for turkey day! She spends the first half of November feverishly researching recipes and techniques to cook the turkey, then declares she knows best and does her own thing when it comes to cooking time. She’s a passionate fan of the celebrity couple Apple Pie and Vanilla Ice Cream and loves leftovers.

Alicia Whavers (EMC) is an actress, singer, playwright and SOPAC’s Director of Audience Services. She was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. She received a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Honors English from Drew University. Alicia has performed along the East Coast from New Jersey to Massachusetts. Some of her favorite past credits include Julius Caesar, Canarsie, Murphy’s Law, Macbeth, Paterson Falls, Measure for Measure and You Can’t Take It With You. 

Alicia serves on the board of The St. James Players in Montclair, a community theatre troupe dedicated to the work of Shakespeare. In 2019, with her sister Angelle, Alicia established Unidentified Stages, a theatre group presenting new works as staged readings with plans to grow and present full stage productions. She also has a talent for sound design and has been known to exeunt stage right to a tech table.
