A powerful night of personal narratives shared live from the SOPAC stage, stories of resilience, belonging, and hope told by the immigrants who have shaped our communities. More than a fundraiser, Stories Without Borders is a night to listen, reflect, and honor the richness immigrants bring to our shared lives. All proceeds benefit Make the Road New Jersey, supporting immigrant rights advocacy and legal aid.

• Live Storytelling: Storytellers take the stage to share personal accounts of resilience, belonging, and hope, bringing the lived experiences of immigrant New Jerseyans into the spotlight in their own voices.
• A Fundraiser with Purpose: We Start Here builds grassroots fundraising events rooted in the South Orange/Maplewood community, partnering with local organizations like Make the Road New Jersey to create fun, accessible nights that raise real money and build lasting connections. Make the Road New Jersey builds the power of immigrant and working-class communities across the state to achieve dignity and justice through community organizing, legal services, education, and policy innovation.
• Cocktails & Conversation: All attendees are invited to a cocktail reception after the event, and VIP ticket holders enjoy an exclusive post-show Q&A with the storytellers, a chance to connect directly with the voices behind the stories.
