Bold, dramatic, visionary — LUX is a sonic explosion! Founded by conductor and composer Brent Chancellor, in partnership with Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Center and SOPAC, LUX presents a new vision for symphonic music that merges high energy performance, light shows, projections, and a disruption of traditional performance etiquette.

Experience orchestral music in a unique and lively approach that will keep your students mesmerized.  Hearing a variety of composers and musical styles, they will explore the sounds of strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion in one unforgettable performance.  This unique framework provides a springboard to explore orchestral instruments and get jazzed about learning!
