Intended for mature audiences. Recommended for ages 18 and up.

Audra Mora – Mora graced the stages of Mexico as an actress and was encouraged to explore world of stand-up comedy due to her wit and hilarious personality. After her first performance, Mora knew she’d found her calling, packed her bags and headed to New York.  Now six years later, she performs nightly at Broadway Comedy Club, The Stand, Greenwich Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, and Carolines on Broadway.  When not in New York, Mora tours and has performed in Philadelphia, Miami, Boston, New Jersey, and even back in her home country of Mexico. Most recently, she was most recently featured at the New York Comedy Festival.

Mora’s comedy transcends not only country borders, but also language barriers: she has mastered the art of stand-up comedy in both English and Spanish, making her one the most sought-after female comedians working today

Mora has been featured in The New York Times, El Tiempo Latino, and has written for Teen Vogue.

Joe Fernandes – Fernandes is a stand-up comedian, actor, and filmmaker. His laid-back style has an honest point of view that any audience can relate to. When he’s not in comedy clubs making fun of his unrelenting confusion with life, he can be found on hiking trails in North New Jersey with his corgi Cody. He released his debut standup album Impossible Human in 2020 and Season 1 of his award-winning web series, “I Don’t Know Joe,” is available now on Sparkk.tv.

Katie Hannigan — Hannigan has been featured on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Comedy Central, Just For Laughs New Faces, The Late Late Show with James Cordon, and MTV.  Her debut album “Feeling of Emptiness” was named “Ten Best of 2022” by the Interrobang. She is a member of SAG AFTRA and has appeared in That Damn Michael Che, Succession, PBSkids, commercials for Subway, Cheezits, Mabelline, Home Depot, and many indie films and sketches. Hannigan’s writing credits include the original series Death Hacks staring Thomas Middleditch and Kristen Schaal, for Augenblick Studios. She also hosts the popular podcast Lady Journey with comedian Sarah Tollemache.

Jay Nog – Nog is a former elementary school teacher and has been entertaining audiences with his rambunctious stand-up comedy since 2004. At first, Nog appears scruffy and blunt, but audiences quickly discover his soft side and feel at home with his playful sarcasm. He has been featured on MTV, MLB Network, in Talent in Motion magazine as one of NYC’s “top up-and-coming comics”, Nat Geo’s Brain Games, MSG Network, and as a guest host on AMC’s Movie Date Night. Nog has opened for national headliners Jim Florentine, Dom Irrera, Adam Ferrara, Rich Vos, and Patrice O’Neal. He was a writer for MTV2’s Guy Code, featured on AOL sports show 2 Point Lead.  He is the man behind the viral video “5 Hours Walking around NYC as a Jets Fan,” and is the host of The Prank Call Podcast.

About Host Joe Larson

Joe is a comedian, husband and father – the former makes the latter well….interesting.

When Joe met his now wife she loved how much he made her laugh. He warned her that while she finds it cute now, she may feel differently when he is unable to do anything but joke during the heat of an argument. As his wife eventually found out “you’re funny all the time!” can quickly turn into “Does everything have to be a joke?”

Perhaps it’s not his fault, Joe is after all a second generation comedian. Much to his parent’s dismay at the age of twenty, Joe went into the family business. Straight away he was chosen College Comedian of the Year at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and shortly after he made the move to New York City where he paid his dues at any club that would give him the mic.

Joe has been on stage at some of the best rooms in the city including the famed Caroline’s On Broadway and Gotham Comedy Club. He was nominated “Best Up-And-Coming Comedian” at the NYC MAC Awards, was a finalist in both the prestigious Johnny Carson Great American Comedy Festival and Boston Comedy Festival and was part of the feature film Stand Up 360. Joe has also been seen on Gotham Comedy Live, NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” “Laughs” on FOX, the Tonight Show’s Laugh Squad and the Speed Channel. On radio he is a repeat guest on Bob and Tom and the Bennington Show.

Pre-pandemic Joe Larson had one of the hottest shows in Brooklyn. Sold out each time to standing room only, his show “Couleur Comedy” was a huge success. It brought together the hottest up-and-coming comedians with established pros for a dynamic and exciting evening. Now, a South Orange resident, Joe is bringing his show to SOPAC.
