Entering its third year, Cabaret in the Loft is quickly becoming a SOPAC audience favorite! Drawing on the wealth of talent from the greater SOMA area, “where Broadway comes home to sleep” (The New York Times), Curator Matthew Luminello assembles a series of intimate storytelling and unforgettable performances perfect for any Broadway lover. Cabaret in the Loft alumni include former Glinda in Wicked on Broadway Ginna Claire Mason, Book of Mormon star Mark Evans, Emmy-nominated lyricist Eli Bolin, and TikTok star Julie Galorenzo, among others. Get your family and friends together for this 54-Below experience west of the Hudson River, right here in South Orange!

This Cabaret in the Loft performance features American actor and singer Donna Vivino, currently on Broadway in Alicia Keys’ Hell’s Kitchen. Also appearing in the forthcoming feature film Ezra, starring Robert De Niro, Vivino has been performing on Broadway since childhood, originating the role of Young Cosette in Les Misérables. She has appeared on countless stages across the country, and on network TV in Law & Order and Marvin is Sorry. Awards include a 2019 SF Bay Area Theatre Critics Award nomination for Best Actress in Play for Finks, and a 2018 Los Angeles Ovation Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of “Mary Flynn” opposite Wayne Brady in Merrily We Roll Along, directed by Michael Arden.
