Since 2017, Summit Medical Group Foundation has hosted Broadway’s finest stars in New Jersey for a must-see benefit event. This year, Broadway comes to SOPAC as they honor Linda Wacks of the Jeffrey Frank Wacks Memorial Fund. Proceeds allow Summit Medical Group Foundation to further its mission by providing comfort, care and compassion to cancer patients and their families. You won’t want to miss this inspiring evening of music with your favorite Broadway stars, presented by Investors Bank. Additional supporters include: Horizons, BASF and Genomic Health.

Having outstanding medical treatment is vital to any cancer patient. What’s often overlooked are the elements that lie outside of surgery, radiation or chemotherapy. The Summit Medical Group Foundation is committed to helping patients and their families maintain their emotional, physical and spiritual well-being throughout treatment, increasing quality of life and chances of survival.

In years past, participating stars have included Norbert Leo Butz (two-time Tony Award winner, My Fair Lady & Netflix series Bloodline), Laura Bell-Bundy (Legally Blonde, Hairspray, FX series Anger Management), Jennie Harney-Flemming (Hamilton, The Color Purple), Joey Taranto (Kinky Boots, Spider-Man Turn off the Dark), Catherine Brunell (Something Rotten!, Les Misérables) and many others.

Supporting the Community

Summit Medical Group Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to improving access to healthcare for the under-served in our communities, educating and inspiring future healthcare providers and promoting the courage, confidence and well-being of individuals and their families facing cancer.

The Foundation was established in 2013 by the Summit Medical Group – New Jersey’s oldest and largest private multi-specialty physician group. This partnership allows the Foundation to engage the doctors and employees of SMG, working together to strengthen the community around us, building healthier tomorrows.
