shu-comm-arts-lockup-4c-blue-greyThe Arts Council of Seton Hall University supports the integral role of the arts in higher education and their universally recognized status as a hallmark of an educated and humane culture. The Council fosters and promotes the visual, literary, and performing arts, enhancing communication and collaboration among its members.

At SOPAC, the Arts Council of Seton Hall University presents a diverse range of live performance events featuring seasoned professionals as well as Seton Hall University students and faculty. Performance series include a Classical Concert Series, Jazz ‘n the Hall performances and Seton Hall Theatre productions.


Juliard1 partnersThe Juilliard School of Music, partners with SOPAC to present the Juilliard @ SOPAC educational series featuring some of jazz and classical music’s rising stars from the acclaimed conservatory.

Juilliard @ SOPAC is billed as a “Sunday Afternoon Concert Series with Music’s Brightest Young Stars” and SOPAC is proud to partner with the famed Juilliard School. SOPAC is the perfect intimate concert hall to hear classical music and jazz. Juilliard @ SOPAC is supported in part by Samuel Convissor.


American Theater Group, a professional member theatre of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance, is SOPAC’s theatre company in-residence.

The company, headed by Producing Artistic Director James Vagias, began presenting staged readings in the SOPAC Loft in 2017. In our 2017-2018 season, American Theater Group will produce at least two fully-staged productions on the SOPAC mainstage.
