Recently Bomsori Kim made great success in the two biggest international competition which are the 15th Tchaikovsky International Competition (5th Prize) and the Queen Elisabeth Competition (Laureate) in 2015. In 2013, Bomsori Kim won the top prize in the 62th ARD International Music Competition Munich that is one of the top rated international music competition in the world and also received several special prizes.

After her international debut in the 4th Sendai International Music Competition (2010), where she became the youngest prize winner and also received the audience prize, Bomsori Kim was the laureate in the 10th International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition (2010). Moreover, she won the 1st prize in The 3rd China International Violin Competition 2011 in Qingdao, as well as with three special prizes. In 2012, she won the prize in Hannover International Violin Competition in Germany.

Kim has performed at Vienna Musikverein Golden Hall, Slovak Radio Concert Hall, Finlandia Hall, Herkulessaal, Prinzregententheater, Berlin philharmonic chamber hall and Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall as a soloist, together with numerous leading orchestras including Bayerischer Rundfunk Symphony Orchestra(BRSO), Moscow Symphony, National Orchestra of Belgium, Hannover NDR Radio Symphony, Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Wallon Royal Chamber Orchestra, Munich Chamber Orchestra, Munich Rundfunk Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Kobe Chamber Orchestra, Qingdao Symphony, Xiaman Symphony, Beijing Broadcasting Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra, Buchon Philharmonic Orchestra, Busan Philharmonic Orchestra , Incheon Phiharmonic Orchestra and etc.

She graduated from Seoul National University and studied with Young Uck Kim, and she currently studies in the Juilliard School with Sylvia Rosenberg and Ronald copes for master’s degree. She currently uses Joannes Baptista Guadagnini, Turin 1774 with the support of Kumho Asiana Instrument Bank.
