Searson is Erin, Heather and Colleen Searson, three multi-talented sisters from the Ottawa Valley, Ontario, Canada, that play a variety of instruments and are all expert step dancers. Piano, organ, fiddle, tenor guitar, drums and bass are all highlighted in their live performances. Searson incorporates a mix of Celtic and Pop while effortlessly incorporating Ottawa Valley style fiddling into their live shows. In 2011 & 2012, Searson has toured throughout Canada, the U.S., Ireland, Germany, Denmark and headlined one of the largest music festivals in Europe at Festival Ortiguiera, Spain. They have recorded 6 original albums to date.
Special guest, Canadian Vocalist Denis Carr will be singing some traditional Celtic and Scottish songs. As front man of Canadian group, The Brigadoons, he performs annually on Caribbean cruises, and has had the pleasure of working with such stars as the Alexander Brothers, Natalie MacMaster, the Barra MacNeils, the Rankin Family, the Tanahill Weevers and the Battlefield Band.
Special guests and one of the leading dance schools in New England, and the New York area, The Lenihan School of Irish Dance have achieved champion status at The New England Regionals, The North American Championships, European Nationals, and The Great Britain Championships. They have also had the honor of qualifying for and medaling at the World Championships held in Ireland.
Students of the Lenihan School of Irish Dance are recognized and praised throughout the state for their outstanding performances.
