A fractured fairytale, Little Red Rosie and the Three Big Pigs combines comedic elements from familiar stories that will delight audiences. Written by local playwrights Jeff Larkin and Nancy S. Chu, Little Red Rosie and the Three Big Pigs also features local talent on stage, including Susan Leone (Mom & Granny), a nationally renowned performer and the director of Maplewood’s Jazzberries Kindermusic studio.  Other cast members include student and Orange, NJ native, Hernell Gabriel (Flora the Pig); Gregory Omar Osborne, a student at Montclair State University (Gregory the Pig); Newark resident and NJ School of Dramatic Arts student, Pete Mars (Wolfgang); students and Maplewood residents, Emma Leone (Rosie) and Elena Helming (Chelsea the Pig); and regional actor and musician, Marie Laine (Narrator & Musician). Ms. Chu will also direct. This premier event marks the first SOPAC original production for SOPAC Inside Out and is a not-to-be missed community event.

Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could
The second instillation of SOPAC Inside Out features 2008 Grammy Nominees Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could.  The ensemble delivers energetic roots-rock with a soulful vibe that is sure to have all family members singing and dancing along. Rymer, who was inspired to pen family-friendly songs once he became a father, brings a new caliber of musicianship to family music, leading a band that has garnered thirteen national awards and praise from critics across the country.  The New York Times hails, “his music has a rock ‘n’ roll heart.” Rymer’s SOPAC Inside Out appearance marks his returns to New Jersey, where he began his music career as a teenager.
