American Repertory Ballet, New Jersey’s premier contemporary ballet troupe, returns for to SOPAC with an evening of repertoire pieces and a world premiere.
The program features two works by renowned American choreographer Twyla Tharp-- Sinatra Suite, set to the tunes of New Jersey native Frank Sinatra, and Baker’s Dozen, which features the music of Willie “the Lion” Smith, a jazz legend and native of Newark. Also, in celebration of his tenth year as Artistic Director, Graham Lustig presents a new company piece, as well as the World Premiere of a new work by Kirk Peterson, the Artistic Director of ABT II.
