Seton Hall Arts Council-The Brentano String Quartet

Tuesday, March 03
7:30pm

Such was their ferocity on Saturday night that the instruments almost burst into flames… the Brentanos are a magnificent string quartet… wonderful, selfless music making." - The Times (London)

Since its inception in 1992, the Brentano String Quartet has appeared throughout the world to popular and critical acclaim, receiving numerous awards and honors, including the Royal Philharmonic Award (U.K) for Most Outstanding Debut. The Quartet is named for Antonie Brentano, whom many scholars consider to be Beethoven's "Immortal Beloved", the intended recipient of his famous love confession.
