Shurr is a world class vocalist that knows her way around a song.  A jazz diva in her own right, five time nominated and two-time Grammy winner, she has built a stellar career by embracing not only the jazz of her parents’ generation, but also the pop music of her own youth.  Acclaimed worldwide for her vocal versatility and incredible 3 1/2 octave range, Diane was "discovered" by Dizzy Gillespie who brought her on stage at the 1979 Monterey Jazz Festival.
