Best known for the memorable characters she created for NBC’s Saturday Night Live, Julia Sweeney is a Grammy-nominated comedienne who mines her life for comic gold. Her first one woman show, God Said, Ha!, which was later turned into a film by Quentin Tarantino, offered a funny look at a family battling cancer. In her third comedy monologue, Julia turns to revelations on faith in Letting Go of God, chatty, intimate and bitingly funny this unique and powerfully funny presentation is an evening not to be missed at SOPAC.
